Can a collection agency report debt on a credit report as revolving credit?
Posted by av8trmoore

I'm running in circles here... Cavalry Portfolio Services is reporting a collection debt on my credit report as a revolving credit account with a credit limit and  terms. I believe this firm has violated provisions of the FDCPA. The account was poorly validated, and is incorrectly reported every month slamming my credit score. (I get nowhere with the CRA's.) Also, I think that the SOL have expired. In the state of Florida it's 4 years. If the debt is out of the statute of limitations, is Cavalry conducting collection activities on a zombie debt? Thanks...
