My Credit History Was Erased
Posted by floridamom

Sometime in the last 3 days, my Experian credit history (660 credit score) disappeared. I have a copy of my credit report from one mortgage broker on 2/20 with Experian credit history. When my credit was pulled on 3/5, Experian reports that I am a minor and have no credit history. I can't even go onto Experian's website and order a report with my login and social. If I suspect that someone who had access to my social and credit information reported me as a minor to Experian to intentionally screw up my credit, do I have any recourse? Is there any way to track this person down?

Wow, I don't know that much about credit, but I've never heard of someone's credit being erased. I'll try to find out more online. Hopefully I'll find some info that can help you.

Hi Floridamom,

My credit history has been erased as well. There is absolutely nothing under my social security number. I've tried to order my credit report on-line but like you was not able to so I had to order via phone and mailed to me. I can't even purchase a cell phone because of this. Hopefully I will get to the bottom of this quickly and I pray it won't become a nightmare like some of those stories on TV. Good luck to you!!!

Hello to all,

Ironically, a friend of mine told me today that his credit disappeared.  The last time he checked it was 630 and he tried purchasing a car a month ago and was not able to.  I am trying to find some answers. If I do, I will post it.

Good luck!!!
