Unfortunately, it is unlikely that there is an easy way to get your name off the loan.
By co-signing on a loan one is taking on the liability of the loan until it is paid off. Since it is likely that the lender required another guarantee (iin this case,yours) because the person you cosigned for did not have sufficient credit or collateral to secure the financing on their own, it is unlikely a lender would voluntarily remove your name from the loan unless the loan was paid in full OR the individual you cosigned for took the following step:
-If the original borrower's credit rating improved, or they now have sufficient collateral on their own, they can go to the lender and request a new loan. In this case the new loan would pay off the first loan, and your name would not be on the new loan.
